Molly DNA: Embroidery Statement

Just like paint on a canvas, embroidery on our dresses, jackets, tops and skirts is a form of art. It adds immense beauty and makes a statement.

Since the very beginning, we’ve used embroidery to create beautiful patterns, add cute messages to our garments and sometimes also as functional detailing, such as with the smocking technique.

Embroidery is the craft of using needle and thread or yarn to decorate clothing. It’s a delicate craft that’s been passed on between generations. Early works of embroidery found in China have been dated all the way back to the 5th–3rd century BC. Many of the earliest basic stitching techniques remain the same today, thousands of years later.

This season, the Catherine series consists of some of our favorite embroidery pieces. These 100% organic treasures will make you look stunning on all your sunny adventures.
