20 years of
It all began with a conversation, a glass of wine each and a sketchbook. Odd Molly was born on March 25th, 2002 in Stockholm. Since then, we’ve grown into a renowned, international company and our designs have been worn and cherished all over the world. So much has happened in 20 years, but our mission to empower women to go their own way and fully express themselves has been the same since day one!
Worn and cherished all over the world
The seed that was planted by founders Per Holknekt, Karin Jimfelt-Ghatan and Christer Andersson became a beautiful, blossoming flower! In 2007, we were nominated “Brand of the year” by the Swedish Trade Federation and since then we’ve won awards in Sweden, Germany and The Baltic States.
Inspired by a girl called Molly
Our brand is inspired by Molly, a skater girl who lived in Venice beach in the 80’s. Her courage to break free from conventions and follow her own dreams was the main inspiration that led to the birth of Odd Molly. Read more about Molly here.
Craftsmanship is in our DNA
In our designs, Scandinavian style meets the vibrant, free-spirited and playful lifestyle of the traveler. We’re inspired by nature, folklore and craftsmanship from all over the world. Embroidery, lace, patchwork and crochet have been with us since day one. We let these carefully crafted details tell their own stories and become an extension of your unique soul’s expression.

Sustainability is at the core
Since the start, our intention to create long-lasting garments that can withstand short-term trends has been our guiding star. Throughout the years, we’ve continuously taken steps towards a more sustainable production. Today we’re proud to say that 70-80% of all our garments are made with sustainable materials! Exciting visions for the future
We recently joined forces with Hunkydory, We are Spindye and Best of Brands Group and together we’re now called MBRS group. Anna Lönnerstedt recently became our new CEO and lots of exciting plans are ahead of us.
